Welcome!
The Kent Cancer Trust (www.kentcancertrust.org.uk) was established to relieve the suffering of cancer patients and improve the provision of cancer care within the Kent area. If preferred, half the sum you raise could be donated to your chosen charity instead of the Rotary Community Fund. Many groups and organisations have had tremendous success in raising monies for their chosen charity and this may be, for example, a hospice, Cancer Research, Red Cross, perhaps a scout group or local charity for the handicapped. It’s easy to register for the walk, simply contact Stephen Alleyne on 01303 250194, provide your name and address and you will be sent the appropriate sponsorship form or further information if desired. The walk sets off from the Cliff lift near the former Rotunda Amusements site where you join the seafront path and take a stroll to the Hythe Imperial and back, or alternatively a shorter walk to the Seabrook point may be preferred. There are prizes available and you may even come in fancy dress if desired. Click on the image on the right for a poster which you could print off and display in your workplace to encourage otehrs to participate, too! We would like to take this opportunity to thank the sponsors in advance, Independent Insurance Services, Peter Bailey and Associates and Silver Spring.
